Educators from Alexander Local Schools, Trimble Local Schools, and Yellow Springs Exempted Village Schools met at the GVESC on December 4 and 5, 2023, to complete the Mentor Academy. The 12-hour training was led by state mentor trainer Julie Haines with assistance from GVESC consultant Dianna Eiring. The two-day Academy focuses on the role of the mentor and the critical components of instructional mentoring. Mentors are introduced to the essential content of mentoring to prepare them to support the instructional growth and development of Resident Educators.
